Since 1997, TechSpace has provided innovative, creative office and co-working spaces to organizations of all sizes – from startups to global corporations. In addition to having impressive physical locations, TechSpace knows having a strong digital presence is key to success. So when their website needed a performance boost, they turned to Rhythm.

Rhythm knows Umbraco and being that TechSpace's site was built on Umbraco we were well positioned to jump in and make enhancements. We first conducted a full website audit looking at the UX (user experience), UI (user interface), design, measurement tactics and search. Our first order of business was creating a strong analytical foundation and optimizing for search. We developed a comprehensive SEO strategy that included updating meta tags and meta descriptions as well as creating tailored content for individual location pages to better capture localized search traffic. Implementing Google Tag Manager allowed us to start tracking (and measuring) key engagement metrics such as when a user clicks on a call to action (CTA) button or when a phone number is clicked from a mobile device. Being able to analyze and report on specific events continues to enable us to refine and enhance TechSpace’s marketing initiatives.

The visitor experience was enhanced even further by adding helpful, keyword-enriched content to the site. A "Local Goodness" section was added to each office space location and included a map feature to show the proximity of nearby restaurants, gyms, parks, and hotels. Customer testimonials were made more prominent and value propositions tied to strategic CTAs made it easier for visitors to book a tour. Finally, we added trackable forms to the bottom of every location page to streamline the inquiry process and enable measurability.

Once all of the website enhancements were implemented – from design to content development to SEO – TechSpace experienced a considerable uptick in web traffic and a vast improvement in reported user satisfaction.

Separate from the main website, TechSpace entrusted Rhythm to design and develop an internal online portal for their tenants called The Hub. This proprietary new tool allows tenants to build and book their calendars, make service requests, access a document repository with building-specific information, and manage their own accounts – all from the convenience of their desktop or phone. The Hub has provided immense value to TechSpace. Not only has it simplified and streamlined key tasks for tenants, but it’s also given TechSpace’s administrators more time to focus on new initiatives.
