Rest in Peace Steve Jobs

I was deeply saddened earlier today when I heard the news about the death of Steve Jobs. Saddened because of the deep impact he had on my life. First off, his work spawned a revolution that created a massive industry which in turned was the catalyst for many other industries. Honestly, I really was not sure what I was going to do with my life as a young man in college. Typical. But my introduction to graphic design and multimedia software on the Mac inspired me to delve deeper into the world of computing and how it could be used for visual art, music and business. That was in 1991. Since then, for twenty years, I have been a loyal advocate for Apple even in their most challenging times.

Steve Jobs and Apple created something that inspired people. They stood for excellence, simplicity, and elegance. They are the inspiration for how we describe one of our three pillars of Rhythm Interactive, "Elegant Technology." Steve Jobs highly valued design and his style and taste were impeccable. His vision and ability to manifest that vision into reality is unmatched. He was, is and always will be truly an inspiration for me and countless others.

Rest in peace Steve Jobs. I have admired your philosophy, leadership, business acumen and of course how you changed the world many times over. Hardly anyone can even say they changed the world once. I owe my livelihood to you and what you created. Thank you for everything you have done for me and the world.
